“At center, number 40, Kendyl Vandergriff!” the announcer yells over the intercom.
Vandergriff moved here from Franklin County in October of her junior year. She has been playing basketball for Franklin County High School since she was in 7th grade. Transferring schools and teams wasn’t easy. “I had to learn all new plays,” Vandergriff explained. “The practices are different at County, there is more structure, at Hills we can do what we want.” Read more...

The New Year just arrived and I was curious to hear about everyone’s New Year’s resolutions. I know that some people don’t make resolutions and I wanted to hear why. So I went around the school asking everyone I saw, to tell me about their New Year’s resolutions they made for 2010. I got a wide variety of answers. Here are some of the most interesting resolutions:“I don’t like making resolutions, but I did set a goal for myself this year. On the way to work I think positive thoughts to myself for 10 to 15 minutes.”-Mrs. Schwarz
